Life Actuarial InternshipStructured actuarial student programme. Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy IC role—the 12-week assignment includes broad function exposure and formal development activities.Life actuarial internship in Des Moines, Iowa, supporting individual annuity modeling, pricing, valuation, and reporting. Over 12 weeks, interns work on hands-on projects involving fixed indexed annuities and present results to company leaders. The role is fully on-site and requires current pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree plus at least one preliminary actuarial exam.RequirementsMust have:Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in actuarial science, data science, or related fieldPassing score on at least 1 preliminary actuarial examStrongly preferred:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and results orientedExceptional attention to numeric and other detailsEffective organization skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with coworkers, vendors, and other outside third partiesAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environmentDemonstrated commitment to continuous learning and developmentTools: Excel Tableau
