Senior Division Order Analyst

This position will support the Land Department with Division Orders, revenue reconciliation, and general land administration activities. The applicant should be able to review and maintain detailed ownership records, analyze title and ownership documentation, process ownership changes, research and resolve discrepancies with operators, and assist with a variety of land-related projects. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of Division Order experience with an oil & gas operator or mineral/royalty company and will be comfortable working across both Division Order and Land functions. Position Summary This position will support the Land Department with Division Orders, revenue reconciliation, and general land administration activities. The applicant should be able to review and maintain detailed ownership records, analyze title and ownership documentation, process ownership changes, research and resolve discrepancies with operators, and assist with a variety of land-related projects. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of Division Order experience with an oil & gas operator or mineral/royalty company and will be comfortable working across both Division Order and Land functions. Responsibilities Review and analyze Division Orders, title opinions, deeds, assignments, leases, probate documents, and other title and ownership documentation to determine and verify ownership. Establish, calculate, verify, and maintain Division of Interest (DOI) and ownership records. Process ownership transfers, conveyances, assignments, estate transfers, address changes, and other owner-record updates. Research and resolve ownership, title, decimal-interest, and suspended-interest discrepancies. Maintain accurate mineral, royalty, and working-interest ownership records, including owner, well, lease, and property information within company systems. Review and track title requirements, outstanding Division Orders, and ownership documentation, and assist with title-curative matters as needed. Coordinate with landmen, accounting personnel, operators, mineral and royalty owners, legal counsel, and other parties to resolve ownership and land-related matters. Maintain organized Division Order, title, ownership, and land files and supporting documentation. Assist with land administration, including lease and agreement tracking, ownership research, document management, and reporting. Assist with acquisitions, divestitures, due diligence, and other land or ownership-related projects as needed. Provide additional Land Department support and assist with special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Division Order Analyst or comparable Division Order experience with an oil & gas operator or mineral/royalty company. Demonstrated experience reviewing and interpreting oil & gas title and ownership documentation. Experience with Division Orders, Division of Interest calculations, and ownership maintenance. Experience processing conveyances, assignments, estate transfers, and other ownership changes. Working knowledge of oil & gas leases, deeds, assignments, title opinions, and probate documentation. Strong understanding of mineral, royalty, and working-interest ownership. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
