Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (Manufacturing) Location: Chicago, IL Business Solutions Full time Job Description This is a high‑impact, client‑facing role where you will lead Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations across manufacturing and supply chain environments. You’ll work directly with business stakeholders to design, configure, and deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency across production, planning, and inventory workflows. Responsibilities Lead functional design and implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central Gather and translate business requirements into scalable D365 solutions Design manufacturing processes (BOMs, routings, production orders) Design supply chain solutions (inventory, warehousing, procurement) Design planning tools (MRP / MPS) Drive workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and customizations Support UAT, training, and go‑live activities Act as a trusted advisor to clients on manufacturing best practices Qualifications 5+ years of hands‑on experience deploying D365 in manufacturing environments (production, shop floor, supply chain) Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) Deep understanding of production processes, BOMs, routings, work centers, MRP/production planning, inventory and warehouse management Experience leading ERP implementations or major system transformations Ability to bridge business and technology Nice to Have Experience in industrial manufacturing or equipment/machinery sectors Experience with D365 F&O implementations Exposure to integrations (Power Platform, ISVs, shop floor systems) Microsoft certifications in Business Central Benefits High‑impact ERP transformations, not just support work Opportunity to shape delivery standards and solution design Collaborate with experienced consultants across finance, supply chain, and technology Clear path to Solution Architect What Success Looks Like Lead successful end‑to‑end Business Central implementations Deliver measurable improvements in production efficiency and supply chain performance Become a trusted SME for both clients and internal teams Who This Is For Business Central / NAV consultants with real production experience and functional experts who enjoy solving complex operational problems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
