Job Description Paradise Locker Meats (PLM) is seeking full-time employees to fill PACKAGING positions. Monday – Friday hours with probable overtime – NO WEEKENDS! Main Duties: Package and label efficiently and precisely all products produced for packaging. Assist Sausage and Cooked Meat Coordinator with packaging of smoked product Assist with packaging of fresh meats Separate and Monitor Cut Sheets per individual orders Check labels for accuracy Assist other departments as needed Work environment:While performing the duties of this job, the production worker is exposed to: Extreme cold temperatures, blood, excessive moisture, machine noise. Skills and Experience Needed for Success: Ability to work well with others Strong attention to detail and quality control One year experience in factory setting preferred but not required Experience with fulfillment of orders Be able to stand for 10 hours per day Great benefits including: Health, Dental, Vision, IRA Retirement Plan, Vacation time, Paid Holidays, Employee Discounts, and Monday - Friday day shift hours! On a daily basis livestock is processed, cut, packaged and shipped via truck and via FedEx. The day-to-day operations at PLM can be challenging and difficult as PLM customers include the most demanding and celebrated chefs.
