Product Development Administrator (In Office Position)

Inside Office Based Position (not remote, not hybrid)
Salary Range $55K-57K DOE
Job Summary: An integral part of the Product Development Team, the Product Development Assistant assists with the naming and cataloging of all products, as well as the preparation of book collections that include all testing, pricing, logs, terms and conditions, technical specifications and cards in rotation. The Product Development Assistant is also responsible for placing all product development items into testing for their desired end-uses and tracking/following up on results. Handles administrative tasks that supports all team members.
The day-to-day:
- Oversees production of binders for new collections
- Facilitates cards and cutting of samples for record keeping.
- Keeps the mill request log up to date Organizes, names, and catalogues all new products
- Hold regular testing meetings with the Sr. Manager Product Development to review testing passes and fails as needed
- Keeps records enters information into system error-free
- Update and maintain mill information regarding the terms and conditions and technical specifications for ordering collections
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent speaking and writing ability.
- Flexible attitude to shift priorities as directed.
- Ability to multi-task, deal with ambiguity, and meet deadlines
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts.
- Must be comfortable working with Excel, experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
- Frequently required to sit for long periods of time reading / responding to emails and verbal requests, frequently required to walk, bend, stand, lift up to 20 lbs, climb short ladders and assist with tasks such as filing, shipping, unpacking, packing, returning samples, etc.
