ID: 78268768 Shift: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM 36 Hour guarantee Description: Functioning within the Health System s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift. RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using age specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries Submission requirements: 2+ Years of Experience-[REQUIRED]Post-operative open heart care experience-[REQUIRED]Critical Care Experience- [HIGHLY PREFERRED]Chest tube and other drain management Experience -RequiredPre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access -RequiredProficiency in cardiac monitoring, including: reading and interpreting cardiac rhythym strips, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms -RequiredAdvanced knowledge of cardiac andpulmonary abnormalities- RequiredExperience with the following procedures and equipment (assisting with chest tube removal, assisting with removal of pericardial pacing wires, management of temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices, use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems -RequiredMust float to all units within skill level-RequiredProfile historySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (PCU)- [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]Active American Heart Association BLS- [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]Active American Heart Association ACLS- [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]Nursys must show Active Ohio/OH or CompactRN License- [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT] Rate:84 OnCall:No Call Other Weekend (AHA),ACLS (AHA) Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks:91
