Account Manager II

About the Opportunity Our Account Managers play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance policies. As the point‑of‑contact, you will assist the agency by managing a book of personal line accounts, including marketing to carriers, preparing quotes and proposals, quickly responding to policy inquiries (email, phone), maintaining renewal controls on expirations and binders, checking policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy, and maintaining accurate and organized account files. Responsibilities Manage a book of personal line accounts. Market to carriers and prepare quotes and proposals. Respond quickly to policy inquiries via email and phone. Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders. Verify policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy. Maintain accurate and organized account files. Qualifications Property and Casualty license in resident state, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment. 3+ years of insurance experience (or 2–5 years of relevant experience). High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Above average mathematical skills. Broad knowledge of insurance products and usage. Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced team environment. Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking.
