This role serves as a senior clinical consultant within medical management, partnering closely with leadership and reporting to the Behavioral Health Chief Medical Officer. The position is responsible for guiding clinical decision-making, ensuring quality of care, and supporting integrated behavioral health strategies./ph3What You Will Do:/h3ulliProvide clinical oversight and consultation for behavioral health programs and initiatives/liliServe as a subject matter expert and clinical authority on behavioral health issues/liliPartner with CMOs, Medical Directors, and leadership to develop and implement integrated care strategies/liliConduct medical necessity reviews and participate in peer-to-peer consultations/liliSupport clinical case reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives/liliAdvise utilization management, quality management, case management, and disease management teams/liliCollaborate with internal teams and external providers to improve clinical outcomes and practice patterns/liliParticipate in committees, projects, and cross-functional initiatives supporting medical management programs/liliProvide clinical guidance and supervision to behavioral health staff and team coordinators/li/ulh3You Will Be Successful If:/h3ulliDemonstrated ability to influence clinical decision-making and drive quality improvement initiatives/liliExperience operating as a senior clinical advisor to executive leadership/liliAbility to function effectively within a matrixed, managed care environment/liliStrong clinical judgment in utilization and medical necessity determinations/liliProven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders/liliAbility to balance strategic oversight with hands-on clinical consultation/li/ulh3What You Will Bring:/h3ulliMD or DO with a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States/liliBoard Certification in Psychiatry/liliMinimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience/liliMinimum of 5 years of medical management experience within a managed care environment/liliExperience with utilization management, quality management, case management, and disease management/liliU.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Department of Defense clearance/liliStrong knowledge of managed behavioral health, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards/liliPreferred: experience with TRICARE, VA, or other government healthcare programs/liliPreferred: advanced training or certification in medical management/li/ulpImpresiv Health is a healthcare consulting partner specializing in clinical operations management, enterprise project management, professional services, and software consulting services.
