License: National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification required

Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS certification required

Must-Have: Ability to work independently, proficient in scrubbing for the following specialties: General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology (cataracts - must be able to load lenses, oculoplastics), GI/Endo specimen capture, and scope reprocessing. DaVinci Robot experience preferred. Must have travel experience, own vehicle, and provide permanent address in profile. All scheduling requests must be included at the time of submission.

Description: Please do not submit candidates who will not take call. This is an 8-hour shift. Candidates requesting 10 or 12-hour shifts will not be considered. Service lines the candidate must be able to scrub in include General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, GI, and Endo. Candidates must be able to load lenses and assist with oculoplastics. Candidates will be required to take call 2-3 days per week. Weekend coverage is required once a month. Holiday coverage may be needed. There is a three strike rule for call-offs. After three call-offs, the contract may be terminated due to lack of attendance. Each call-off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance.
