Construction Manager - Freeport, FL

We believe that, when people share their talents and ideas, great things can happen.The company offers numerous options to help its employees achieve their financial, professional, and wellness goals including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off 401(k) plan and match and more.General Duties and Responsibilities:Schedule, coordinate, and inspect the activities of subcontractors and vendorsHold subcontractors and vendors accountable for complete work consistent with SI HoldCo LLC's standards prior to authorizing paymentStage punch all stages of construction; have in-depth knowledge of the status of each home on assigned job sitesEnsure homes are completed by the scheduled closing dateMaintain construction best practices on respective job sitesMaintain knowledge of the scope of work of each major subcontractorIdentify material needs and verify delivery of materials to construction sitesManage trade databaseRecognize common safety violations and instruct appropriate subcontractors to abate the violationsCommunicate and manage expectations with buyersAnalyze problems and recommend solutions; keep management informed of any issues related to assigned communitiesQualifications:Minimum two years of residential construction experienceKnowledge of the scope of work for each major subcontractorBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related fieldKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other information necessary for the effective manufacture of quality, single-family homesCurrent, valid driver's license and evidence state the minimum required insurancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with a high-volume homebuilderExperience recruiting quality subcontractorsSpanish speaker is a plusFamiliarity with calendar or scheduling softwareAt Southern Impression Homes, employment decisions are based on personal capabilities and qualifications without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
