As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM Sunday: 06:00 AM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify entry authorization in accordance with site protocols, helping to support government location requirements and reporting irregularities as needed. Assist with incident response, visitor direction, and other security‑related duties as assigned, recognizing that working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
