Job Details: Job Location: Performance Heating - Kent, WA 98032, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 Base+Commission/month, Inside Repair Sales Representative Position Summary Performance Mechanical Group is seeking an Inside Repair Sales Representative to increase the approval and completion of commercial HVAC and refrigeration repair proposals. This position will take ownership of the repair follow-up process—from proposal submission through customer approval, completion, invoicing, and payment. The ideal candidate is organized, persistent, customer-focused, and comfortable communicating the value and urgency of recommended repairs. Primary Responsibilities Follow up consistently on outstanding repair proposals Prioritize critical, aging, and high-value opportunities Explain the scope, urgency, and value of recommended repairs Answer customer questions and coordinate technical support when needed Build relationships with facility managers and customer decision-makers Secure approvals, purchase orders, and required documentation Coordinate approved repairs with the service department Maintain accurate quote statuses and follow-up records Re-engage customers regarding declined or deferred repairs Track approval rates, lost-sales reasons, and recurring customer objections Help maintain a consistent and profitable repair backlog Qualifications Inside sales, account management, or customer service experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization and follow-through Ability to manage a high volume of open proposals and customer interactions Comfortable discussing pricing, urgency, and the value of recommended work Ability to work closely with service managers, technicians, and administrative staff Commercial HVAC, refrigeration, facilities, or mechanical-service experience preferred Experience with CRM, service-management, or proposal-tracking software preferred Compensation Base pay of $25 per hour, approximately $52,000 annually Performance-based commission on eligible repair revenue The position is expected to earn a minimum of approximately $24,000 in annual commission Estimated total annual compensation of approximately $76,000, with additional earning potential based on performance Commission applies only to eligible repair work that has been approved, completed, invoiced, and paid. Preventative maintenance agreements, construction projects, warranty work, callbacks, credits, and no-charge work are excluded. Repairs must meet PMG’s minimum gross-margin requirements unless otherwise approved by the General Manager. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys building customer relationships, following opportunities through to completion, and producing measurable results. This person will be motivated by both customer service and sales performance and will bring consistent ownership to PMG’s repair-approval process.
