Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT/MLS)

This is a 13-week contract position.

10-hour days, with rotating weeknight and weekend call.

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT or MLS) for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and phlebotomy skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and testing.
• Analyze results and communicate findings.
• Ensure quality control standards are met and maintained.
• Participate in call rotation and emergency response as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

For MLS candidates:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• ASCP or equivalent CLS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

For MLT candidates:

• Associate's degree in sciences with emphasis on Medical Laboratory Technology.
• ASCP or equivalent CLS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
