Engineering Intern

Job Summary We are opening two summer internship positions designed for students interested in science and engineering. This internship provides exposure to real engineering operations, field support, and document management within an active technical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for students who want practical experience and insight into engineering workflows, fabrication support, and technical documentation. Responsibilities Organize and digitize historical documents and engineering drawings into company systems Support technicians and engineers with field activities and shop floor fabrication tasks Draft memos, procedures, and technical documents for the Engineering Team in support of ongoing operations Requirements Graduating high school seniors pursuing a science or engineering field, or Current university students pursuing an engineering field Physical Requirements Assignment Location: Chatsworth, CA. Sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Fingering (typing), communicating, repetitive motions. Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting. Inside environmental conditions with protection from outside elements.
