Responsibilities As Family Services Specialist for the Treatment Foster Care Program, you will lead the ongoing effort to train and evaluate Teaching Parents (TP) for the ITFC program; provide trainings and guidance to Intercept staff to assist with the implementation of practice models; support referral and admission coordination to include case management, interviewing, communicating with placing agency and case workers, and transportation of applicants; support a 24‑hour on‑call rotation to provide crisis intervention services; maintain and update a database of referral information; provide program development or training support as needed, including attendance at venues and formulation of pertinent information and tools for foster parent recruitment efforts. Reports to Senior Manager of Foster Care Administration. Qualifications Doctorate or master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution or a field related to social work (e.g., sociology, psychology, special education, counseling) with a student placement in casework services to children and families or one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families. Baccalaureate degree in social work or a related field (e.g., sociology, psychology, special education, counseling) and one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families. Baccalaureate degree in any field and two years of experience in providing casework services to children and families. Associate’s degree in a related field and four years of experience in the field of foster care or experience in working with behavioral programs, counseling, and/or skills training (preferred).
