You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate.Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Occasional overtime available.Responsibilities:Load and unload trucks; receive product verifying accuracy, picking and packing product and putting product away in an appropriate mannerSafely operate various warehouse equipment to pull and prepare outbound customer ordersUse technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare ordersMaintain good housekeeping of pipe yard and warehouseMust adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)Requirements:1+ years of experience working in warehouse environments is requiredKnowledge of PVF (pipe, valves, fittings, cutting, threading, grooving, etc.) is preferredForklift certification is preferredCombilift experience is preferredHigh attention to detailAbility to lift 50 lbs.; push/pull a cart weighing more than thisComputer experience and ability to perform basic math problems required; knowledge of an order entry system (JDE/Oracle) a plusContinued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as requiredPositive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethicSelf-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly*Pre-employment drug and background screening required *At Ferguson, we care for each other.
