Student Support Specialist (part-time) 21st Century Community Learning Center Program, Student Services Division. Part‑time Student Support Specialists work with elementary school‑age students, supporting English Language Learners and/or academic support students. Qualifications High school diploma required Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred Experience working with the applicable age group preferred Computer and current technology knowledge required Must have Act 33 and 34 clearances and federal criminal history background check (available through CCIU upon hire) Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Duties & Responsibilities Plan and implement daily lessons related to student needs Provide an engaging environment designed to meet the needs of students Implement behavior management strategies that are developmentally appropriate Plan and implement a daily learning schedule that includes: Physical movement Social and emotional learning Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) activities Maintain student attendance and participation data Schedule Monday - Thursday: 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm. No program on Fridays. Hourly Rate (2026-2027 School Year) Project Band 13: $31.82 - $39.77 per hour. Placement on scale commensurate with years of experience in a relevant position.
