Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide care on a general medical/surgical floor, including management of post-operative patients requiring overnight stays.
• Monitor patients requiring telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN state license (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of previous RN experience (required).
• At least 1 completed travel contract (required).
• Valid driver's license (required).
• Taxable home address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (required).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
