As a Security Officer - Entry Checkpoint Screener in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries at designated entry points by verifying credentials, following access protocols, and documenting security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, screening equipment, and/or access control systems to help identify unusual activity and report incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following post orders, contacting the appropriate personnel, and completing detailed activity and/or incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
