Labor and Employment Attorney

Referment is working with an established Florida law firm seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney with a portable book of business of at least $400,000.

The firm has a substantial litigation and transactional practice, advising businesses on employment issues alongside their wider legal needs. Its labor and employment work spans day-to-day counsel, workplace disputes and litigation in state and federal courts. For an attorney with established client relationships, this offers the chance to continue leading those relationships within a firm that can support clients across multiple areas of law.

The opportunity

You will represent employers in employment litigation while providing practical advice on the workplace issues that can lead to disputes. The practice handles matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour claims, restrictive covenants and other employment-related issues. You will have the scope to develop the clients and practice you bring to the firm, working alongside colleagues with expertise in other disciplines.

What We’re Looking For

• At least five years of employment litigation experience.
• A portable book of business worth a minimum of $400,000.
• Current admission to practice law in Florida.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent legal writing.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• The ability to build lasting client relationships and give clear, commercially grounded advice.
