Competitive salary $118,000–$131,200 + hospital incentive plan On-site Director role with no regular patient caseload unless coverage is needed First-year preceptor assigned to support a strong onboarding runway Opportunity to stabilize and develop a therapy team that includes new graduates and early-career clinicians Lead operations inside certified specialty programs (Neuro, Ortho, Brain Injury, Stroke, Parkinson’s) High-impact leadership role with a Therapy Manager and discipline leads already in place Job Details Job Details / Responsibilities: Own overall leadership and operational performance of hospital Therapy Operations (PT, OT, SLP) Direct and develop the Therapy Manager; PT Lead, OT Lead, and SLP Lead report through the Therapy Manager Stabilize a mixed-experience team (new grads and therapists with a few years of experience) through coaching, structure, and consistent standards Drive patient experience, inter-departmental collaboration, and clinical quality across certified specialty programs Oversee staffing mix and coverage, including Speech and OT core staffing and PT contract support as needed Monitor therapy intensity, productivity, scheduling, documentation quality, and regulatory readiness Partner with hospital leadership on operations, census support (ADC 70–75), and incentive-plan performance Step into patient care only when necessary to protect access and quality Build a culture of accountability, mentorship, and interdisciplinary teamwork Qualifications: Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist (SLP not eligible for this DTO) Current Arkansas state license in PT or OT (or ability to obtain prior to start) Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited therapy program required Master’s or Doctorate in a professional or management area preferred Minimum five years of rehabilitation experience, including at least two years in management Demonstrated depth of leadership and experience managing a large team Background in acute care, inpatient rehab, SNF, or LTACH will be considered CPR/BLS preferred unless otherwise required by hospital policy Proven strength in patient experience and inter-departmental relationships Interested in hearing more?
