What You'll Do

Support Survivors

• Build trusting, supportive relationships with survivors.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and intake appointments using a trauma-informed approach.
• Partner with clients to develop individualized service plans and achievable goals.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.

Connect Survivors to Resources

• Coordinate referrals and services with community partners.
• Assist clients in accessing housing, healthcare, employment, education, transportation, and other essential resources.
• Help reduce barriers to safety and stability through advocacy and resource coordination.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet clients' evolving needs.

Strengthen Community Partnerships

• Build and maintain relationships with shelters, schools, correctional facilities, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and rural response teams.
• Serve as a liaison between Call to Freedom and community partners.
• Support coordinated care for newly identified survivors across the region.

Advance Prevention & Community Response

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinated response efforts.
• Provide education and outreach to community partners.
• Support prevention initiatives that increase awareness and reduce the risk of exploitation.

Collaborate Across Programs

• Partner closely with the Director of Marissa's House & Outreach Services regarding referrals and service coordination.
• Assist with case navigation and continuity of care across service areas.
• Travel throughout the region as needed to strengthen partnerships and support survivors.

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who is compassionate, resourceful, and committed to empowering others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing case management, advocacy, or direct services to individuals experiencing trauma or other vulnerable populations.
• Strong commitment to trauma-informed, survivor-centered care (or a willingness to learn).
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of community resources and service coordination is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a combination of relevant education, training, and experience are encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area, including occasional overnight travel.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on program needs.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
