Transportation Refrigeration Technician

Job Title: Transport Refrigeration Technician Location: Lakeville, Minnesota Company: Interstate Power Systems Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (depending on experience) Interstate Power Systems is looking for an experienced Transport Refrigeration Technician with extensive knowledge of Carrier and/or Thermo-King refrigeration units. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing Carrier or Thermo-King refrigeration systems used in trucks, vans, and trailers. Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic Job Duties Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all Carrier and/or Thermo-King refrigeration units. Accurately diagnose complex engine conditions and perform necessary repairs. Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding repairs. Perform quality control to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Keep paperwork updated and submit upon completion. Meet certification requirements. Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic Position Requirements Valid driver's license (bonus for CDL holders). Good work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability. Excellent understanding of Carrier and/or Thermo-King refrigeration units. Other mechanical skills desirable: hydraulics, brakes & suspension, manual transmissions, drivetrain, automatic transmissions. Physically able to lift and work without restrictions. Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic Desired Skills/Qualities Positive attitude and goal-setting ability. Willingness to pursue certification opportunities and stay updated on product training.
