About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at Rhythm of Learning Montessori as a Kitchen Aid and Cleaning Classroom Aid! In this role, you will contribute to creating a nurturing environment for our children while ensuring cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and classrooms.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in meal preparation and kitchen organization to support our Montessori program.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and classroom areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
• Help with food service during meal times, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Monitor inventory of kitchen supplies and report needs to management.
• Support teachers by preparing classroom materials and maintaining a tidy environment.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines in food handling and cleaning procedures.
• Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere among staff and students.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
• Food handling certification is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
