Surety Underwriter

The Surety Underwriter is a uniquely technical role in the underwriting world. We are looking for someone with a strong finance background including credit analysis if not already experienced in the surety marketplace. Our ideal candidate will have a can-do positive attitude, strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to further develop and sharpen established negotiation skills. This role will be filled at either the mid or senior level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position. The Market Facing Commercial Surety Underwriter is responsible for: Serving as a customer industry advocate with a focus on improving the customer experience by understanding their risk and offering the best end to end solution for their insurance needs.
