Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual needs and design personalized therapy approaches that help patients reach their goals
• Implement Effective Interventions: Apply evidence-based strategies to enhance motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, clinicians, and caregivers to deliver comprehensive, well-rounded care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their loved ones on therapeutic techniques to promote ongoing success at home
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes, revising treatment strategies to ensure optimal patient progress

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certification are encouraged and supported

Required Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• NBCOT certification mandated
