We are looking for someone long-term who takes pride in keeping a home clean, organized, comfortable, and well maintained. This is more than an occasional house cleaning position. We are looking for someone who can learn our household and help keep things running smoothly without needing to be told every small task that needs to be completed. Regular responsibilities will include:

• Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
• Cleaning the kitchen, counters, sinks, appliances, and stovetop
• Cleaning the oven as needed/approximately weekly
• Vacuuming all carpeted areas
• Sweeping and mopping hard floors
• Dusting furniture, surfaces, baseboards, and other areas as needed
• Making beds and changing bed linens when needed
• Emptying household trash
• Washing, drying, folding, hanging, and putting away laundry for a family of five
• Keeping bedrooms and common areas neat and tidy
• Wiping windows, glass, doors, and other surfaces as needed
• Periodic deeper-cleaning projects
• Household organization projects, including closets and other spaces as needed

This position is three days per week (MWF). We especially value someone who has a good eye for detail and takes initiative. If you notice something that needs cleaning, straightening, or organizing, we want you to feel comfortable taking care of it rather than waiting to be specifically instructed. The ideal candidate is dependable, trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented, respectful of privacy, comfortable working independently, and experienced with household cleaning and laundry. This is a recurring position, and we are looking for someone who wants to become a consistent and dependable part of maintaining our household. Prior professional housekeeping or private-home experience is strongly preferred. Pay starts at $16/hour.
