- Process regular and off cycle U.S. payroll, including collecting inputs, performing calculations, and ensuring timely, accurate payments.
- Ensure all payroll transactions comply with internal policies, federal and state regulations, and tax requirements, including timely tax payments and filings.
- Serve as a backup to team members and support knowledge sharing across the payroll function.
- Maintain and enhance process documentation; recommend improvements to boost accuracy, efficiency, and system optimization.
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding promptly and professionally to employee and stakeholder inquiries.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support payroll-related initiatives, reporting, and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management
- 5-7+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Strong understanding of multijurisdictional payroll tax laws and regulations
- Working knowledge of accounting principles related to payroll
- Demonstrated ability to audit and reconcile payroll data for accuracy and compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines effectively
