Senior Project Manager - Real Estate Development

A leading New York City-based real estate development firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its development team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in ground-up real estate development to oversee complex, high-profile projects across multiple asset classes. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or related field Experience with educational, healthcare, and/or commercial real estate developments Track record managing projects of 150,000+ square feet Strong understanding of the complete real estate development process, including acquisition, entitlement, design, construction, and closeout Experience managing consultants, contractors, and complex project teams Strong knowledge of construction practices, project controls, budgets, and schedules Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline preferred Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage ground-up real estate development projects from inception through completion Oversee project schedules, budgets, design coordination, construction activities, and project delivery Manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and key project stakeholders Coordinate pre-development activities including due diligence, permitting, entitlements, and approvals Review and manage project scopes, budgets, contracts, and schedules Monitor construction progress, quality control, costs, and timelines Identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement solutions to maintain project objectives Provide regular project updates and reporting to ownership and senior leadership Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful project execution Support strategic planning and decision-making throughout the development process #J-18808-Ljbffr Alexander Chapman
