Pressure Vessel Fitter
Victoria, TX
Pay: $20.00–$30.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Pressure Vessel Fitter for a client in Victoria, TX.
This company is a respected industrial fabrication company specializing in ASME-coded pressure vessels, structural steel, piping systems, and custom fabrication for the oil & gas and industrial sectors. They are looking for an experienced fitter who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to be part of a team committed to safety and excellence.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.
- Fit and assemble pressure vessels according to specifications and ASME standards.
- Lay out, align, and tack components for welding.
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Verify dimensions and ensure proper fit-up before welding.
- Safely operate fabrication tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work closely with welders and shop personnel to complete projects efficiently.
- Previous pressure vessel fitting experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel preferred.
- Familiarity with ASME pressure vessel fabrication is highly preferred.
- Strong measuring and layout skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fabrication shop environment.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Competitive pay based on experience ($20–$30/hour)
- Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off
