ICU Registered Nurse – Night Shift in Metairie, LA

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Licenses/Certifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH certifications required (CPI can be obtained at the facility for $100)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, Epic experience necessary

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality care to ICU patients in a fast-paced environment
• Perform lab sticks, EKGs, line starts, and other procedures as needed
• Float across all ICU units, and potentially to ED or PACU, to care for critical patients
• Manage various equipment including Alaris IV Pumps, Fresenius CRRT Dialysis machines, Edwards Lifesciences heart monitors, and GE monitors
• Collaborate with team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate, efficient care in high-pressure situations

What You Need:

• Valid ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications (CPI obtainable at the facility for $100)
• Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience with Epic EMR experience
• Ability to float to different units including ICU, ED, PACU, or MS/PCU
• Strong critical thinking and patient care skills
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required
