A Schedule That Fits Your Life Monday through Friday, 4 p.m.–Midnight or 6 p.m.–2 a.m. This evening-shift schedule is perfect for nurses who prefer quieter hours, want to avoid daytime traffic, or enjoy having their mornings and early afternoons free. Whether you use that time for family, appointments, or personal interests, this role offers a rhythm that supports balance and flexibility. What We Offer • Supportive, team-focused culture • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits effective the first of the month • 401(k) with generous company match • Generous PTO accruals • Paid holidays • Mileage reimbursement • Tuition reimbursement • Employee referral program • Merit-based pay increases • Employee discount programs What You'll Do • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act • Deliver skilled nursing care based on comprehensive assessments and individualized plans of care • Document patient services accurately and promptly • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and symptom management • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team—including aides, therapists, social workers, dietitians, and supervisors—to ensure coordinated, holistic care • Provide effective pain and symptom management and evaluate patient responses What You Bring • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program • Three years of nursing experience (hospice, community health, or med-surg preferred) • Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice • Current CPR certification • Strong communication and organizational skills • Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle If you're looking for a meaningful nursing role with a supportive team and a schedule that gives you more control over your day, Day City Hospice would love to meet you.
