We are partnering with a fast-growing, family-run consumer brand that has built its business around bringing beloved products from the past back to life. Their products are already sold through some of the largest retailers in the country, but their social presence is just beginning to scratch the surface of what's possible. Now they're looking for a Social Media Manager to become the strategic voice behind the brand. The goal isn't to fill a feed with product shots or constantly tell people what to buy. It's to build a social presence that makes someone stop scrolling and think: "Wait... I remember that." Childhood memories. 90s and early-2000s culture. Forgotten trends. Music. Movies. Pop culture. Products people thought they'd never see again. The vision is to become a go-to social destination for nostalgia , with the products naturally woven into that story. And you'll have significant creative freedom to help define what that looks like. Why Join? What You'll Own This is not a "here's the content calendar, please post it" social media job. The founders have a ton of ideas, exciting products and upcoming collaborations . What they need is someone who knows how to turn all of that creative energy into an actual social strategy. You’ll: Own social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and emerging platforms Build the content calendar and turn ideas into organized campaigns Develop a distinct brand voice around nostalgia, humor, emotion and cultural moments Identify trends quickly and know which ones the brand should jump on Use social listening to uncover conversations and nostalgic moments worth building content around Develop influencer and creator collaborations that feel authentic Track performance, engagement, audience growth and content KPIs Test hooks, formats and storytelling approaches and use the data to determine what comes next Help capture spontaneous behind-the-scenes video and photography when opportunities arise Work alongside creative resources and potentially an outside agency while serving as the internal owner of social Explore AI-powered tools for content creation, ideation and marketing workflows This is where the opportunity gets particularly fun.
