WMS-System Specialist‑Superuser Location: USA – Fort Worth, Silver Creek Rd Division: Solutions Posting Title: 120342 Time Type: Full Time Position Summary The System Specialist WMS Design is responsible for efficient transmission of information and the storage and analysis of information through computer networks and systems, the Internet, and computer databases. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining and supporting the facility's computer systems, providing general maintenance and system updates on network hardware and software, analyzing problems, monitoring networks for availability, and evaluating system performance. May be required to be “on call” outside of normal business hours to resolve system failures or other problems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Acts as the primary support for client’s systems solutions for the user community. Develops and maintains tracking tools for support service requests and resolutions by location and resource. Engages expert resources when complex support issues arise outside of the WMS‑Red Prairie and/or SAP applications. Works with the company’s team to close support service requests and support testing activities. Collaborates with project teams to implement, maintain, and improve internal systems. Ensures company and company assets are maintained responsibly. Communicates IT-related information to site and client management. Maintains system efficiency so all components – computers, network, software – work properly. Tests and coordinates modifications to the system, troubleshooting problems when they arise. Works with corporate IT to resolve complex issues. Determines ways to store, organize, analyze, use, and present data. Produces regular reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Ensures all RF standard operating procedures are current and trains associates on updated SOPs, Microsoft Office, WMS programs, and RF guns. Responds to inquiries about WMS‑Red Prairie and related computer issues. Refers questions to the appropriate person when needed. Maintains professional verbal and written communication with all customers. Assists with research projects and special projects. Accountable for overseeing manpower, recruiting, retention, and development of people within the scope of responsibility. Ensures procedures exist to guarantee client service, productivity, and facilities and equipment maintenance. Sets goals to provide continuous improvement for the assigned site. Other Duties Perform other duties as required. Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Skills & Abilities Mid to Senior Microsoft Office skills. Technical knowledge of technologies appropriate to the assigned application set or region. Experience in the administration and maintenance of infrastructure, software, systems. Experience with Red Prairie, RF/RDTs, UNIX, proprietary WMS. Wi‑Fi and RF systems equipment experience. Pay Base pay range: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 annual.
