This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to personalized patient care through expert sterile compounding in a supportive pharmacy setting. The position starts part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time role after training, providing flexibility during onboarding.
Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
- Schedule designed to support work-life balance and family needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare sterile compounded medications tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and safe medication therapies
- Maintain high standards of medication safety, quality control, and documentation
- Utilize PK Software to manage prescriptions and compounding workflows
- Support a variety of therapeutic areas including hormone replacement, pain management, and specialty prescriptions
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of sterile compounding experience required
- 1-2 years of previous compounding pharmacy experience highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Familiarity with compounding regulations and best practices
