Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Housekeeping Assistant to support our facilities with cleaning and maintenance tasks. This position ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment and reports to the facility supervisor.

Schedule & Pay

Pay: $15/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Perform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, waxing, stripping, and buffing floors
Vacuum and shampoo carpets; dust furniture and clean restrooms
Wash windows and walls as needed
Remove trash and recycling
Identify and replace burned-out light bulbs
Load, unload, and move furniture or equipment to storage when necessary
Receive and organize cleaning supplies
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Follow all operational and safety requirements, including reading and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and study protocols when entering regulated areas

Qualifications

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Ability to lift, move, and carry items as required
Commitment to safety and adherence to operational guidelines
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required
