The Role

We're looking for a Social & Creative Manager to own how Cumulus shows up in the world, day to day. You'll run our social channels, build and manage our creator and influencer relationships, oversee our PR agency, and keep a pulse on our community. You'll also be a hands-on designer and art director who can make the work, not just

brief it.

This role suits someone who thinks in both strategy and visuals. You can plan a month of content, then open Figma and design the assets. You can brief a photographer and direct the shoot. You understand that for a premium product, taste is a strategy.

What You'll Do

Social Media (40%)

• Own strategy, calendar, and execution across all Cumulus channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)

• Create and edit content, including photo, short-form video, graphics, and copy

• Keep the brand voice and visual identity consistent across every post

• Track performance, report on what's working, and adjust

Creative & Art Direction (30%)

• Design social assets, campaign graphics, retail signage, email and web visuals, and sales materials

• Art direct photo and video shoots, from concept to shot list to on-set direction

• Brief and manage freelance designers, photographers, and videographers

• Help evolve the Cumulus visual system and keep brand guidelines current

Influencer & Creator Partnerships (10%)

• Find and build relationships with creators who carry credibility in coffee: educators, home baristas, café owners

• Run seeding, gifting, and partnership programs from outreach to contracts to tracking

• Measure creator impact through affiliate codes, conversions, and content performance

• Build a creator roster that feels like a community, not a transaction

PR (10%)

• Manage our PR agency day to day: briefs, priorities, approvals, and results

• Help shape story angles around launches, retail moments, and campaigns

• Make sure press and social tell the same story at the same time

Community (10%)

• Oversee community engagement and response across channels (hands-on work can be shared or supported)

• Pass customer feedback and trends back to marketing, product, and sales

What You Bring

• 5–6 years in social media, brand marketing, or creative roles, ideally at a consumer, lifestyle, or premium CPG brand

• A portfolio that shows both strategic social work and your own design and art direction

• Strong Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma skills, plus comfort with short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)

• Experience managing influencer programs and relationships end to end

• Experience working with or managing a PR agency

• A sharp editorial eye. You know the difference between polished and premium.

• Organized and self-directed, comfortable wearing multiple hats on a small, fast-moving team

• Bonus: passion for or fluency in specialty coffee culture

• Bonus: retail marketing experience (co-marketing with retail partners, in-store assets)
