A clinical research organization is looking for a Histotechnician to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a research organization that works on a wide range of projects including clinical, diagnostics, therapeutics, and more
Pay: $36-50/hr
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
6 month contract to hire
Job Duties:
- Perform highquality IHC staining, including antibody optimization, slide preparation, and protocol execution in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Prepare, embed, cut, and stain tissue samples following established SOPs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with GLP/GMP standards.
- Operate and maintain histology and IHC instrumentation, troubleshoot technical issues, and document all work according to CRO reporting requirements.
- Review slides for quality, identify artifacts or staining issues, and collaborate with pathologists/scientists to ensure reliable and reproducible results.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
- Histologist or Histotechnologist certification by ASCP
- Experience with IHC
