Quick Facts Location: Lexington, KY (701 Bob O Link Drive) Start Date: 07/13/2026 Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 7 AM 4 PM Duration: Multiple scheduling periods from October to December Hours per week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum Certifications: KY Medical License required Experience: Prior radiation oncology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $0.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursements where applicable Paid sick time per applicable laws What You ll Do Oversee radiation treatments for oncologic patients Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up appointments Participate in treatment planning, tumor conferences, and progress updates Manage treatments using SBRT, IMRT, 3D, and SRS techniques Coordinate care with a team including nurses, radiation therapists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists Maintain compliance with internal protocols and safety standards What You Need Valid Kentucky medical license Experience in radiation oncology (preferred) Proficiency with SBRT, IMRT, 3D, SRS procedures Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills Required: Medical license in Kentucky Malpractice and background clearance Ability to start promptly Preferred: Prior locum or clinical experience in an outpatient radiation oncology setting About the Assignment This locum role is based in a busy ambulatory clinic located at 701 Bob O Link Drive, Lexington, KY. You will work alongside a dedicated team providing comprehensive oncology care, including new consultations, follow-ups, treatment planning, and tumor management.
