Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate patients and develop tailored treatment plans to meet their specific needs and goals under physician guidance. This role involves ensuring effective return to community activities through functional treatment programs and patient education, while maintaining compliance with the organizational Code of Conduct and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and goals to expedite patient discharge.
• Document medical records accurately and within compliance standards.
• Participate in student education and supervision as required.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education efforts.
• Uphold ethical standards in practice and maintain licensure.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and feedback processes.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Physical Therapy license for the State of Florida.
• CPR certification required.
