They are, therefore, our most precious resource.CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Responsibilities:Gives direct care as assigned, i.e., bath, shower, oral hygiene, giving and removing bedpans/urinals, personal grooming, and all other hygienic needsCleans and cares for bedside equipment and the residents' environment, occupied and unoccupied beds, bedside tables, dressers, residents' clothing, and personal belongingsPractices safety rules at all times to prevent accidentsAssist the nurse in maintaining continuous observation of and assisting residentsConduct resident care rounds, visiting each resident for at least one to two hoursPrepare residents for meals, and help or feed residents as neededCompletes all documentation before the end of the shiftEstablishes and maintains a rapport with residents, families, visitors, and all levels of staffCNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Qualifications:Must have a valid and clear Florida CNA certification numberSkilled nursing facility or long-term care experience for senior care is preferred but not requiredWell versed with documentation writing on Point Click Care (PCC) system; training providedDocument patient's progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashionCollaborates with all disciplines to provide the best patient-centered treatment and careExceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellenceReport to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalismCompliance with confidentiality, HIPPA, and Federal Residents' RightsShift: All ShiftsSalary: $16.50 per hourBackground Screening Requirement:This position is subject to Florida background screening requirements.For information please visit: Reef Subacute Care Center, formerly Coral Reef Nursing and Rehab Center, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
