This location, operated by Convenience Stores Inc - a subsidiary of Jones Petroleum, is looking for highly skilled, self-motivated individuals to assist in our growing Retail Operation. Responsibilities Manage, direct and supervise the daily operations of the assigned location while providing pleasant and courteous service to customers in alignment with Company goals, policies, and procedures. Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, problem solving, supervisory and communication skills; project the Company image of courteous and friendly service. Perform duties across customer service, merchandising, food service, operations, staffing, employee development, employee relations, and store profitability. Create a positive store culture by treating employees fairly and with respect. Work with weekends, holidays and varying shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining total customer focus. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Must maintain a current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license with an insurable driving record. Basic language and mathematical skills; ability to multi-task. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to work 50 hours per week and to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as required by the business needs. Must be reliable, responsible, and able to report to work on time; adaptable to change. High school education or equivalent; prior people management experience; self-motivated and dependable. Physical Requirements Stand up to 10 hours per shift and lift up to 60 pounds; bend, stoop, and climb ladders as required. Use of motion involving pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists. Salary and Compensation We offer a competitive starting wage. The introductory period is designed to determine whether the employee can adequately perform the assigned job position.
