Senior Engineer , Mechanical- Static Equipment

Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost We are seeking a SeniorMechanical Engineer - Static Equipment.This position will be located at our Downtown Houston office and is a Monday-Friday position.Responsibilities:Mechanical MOC/HAZOP signoffSite mechanical technical authorityVG engineering sign off on static equipment internal inspection / readinessValidation of pneumatic test packs and exclusion zone calculationProvides input to weekly site engineering reportReview surveyor deliverables and assist with fit up / interface misses at site Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of twelve years combined experience in Design, Commissioning, or Operations of Static Equipment. Experience representing asset owner in these roles is a plus.Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities highly preferred.Fire Equipment experience a must.Ability to perform multiple tasks and work within project deadlines, and adjust as priorities changes occurPossess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance on planning, scheduling, and engineering subjectsHave the ability to read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, PFDs, C&Es, One Line Diagrams, Isometrics, and Civil/Structural drawingsKnowledge of applicable ASME and API standards.Experience with systems completions.Strong understanding of the design and operation of heat exchangers and process piping.Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills Venture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
