Director, Strategic Insights & Analytics - Yogurt & Ready to Drink Shakes

The Strategic Insights & Analytics (SIA) organization is evolving to support Danone North America’s transformation into a consumer‑centric organization. We partner across the enterprise to drive clarity and precision in category, brand, commercial, and sales efforts, capturing value opportunities and growing our brands. This role focuses on deep consumer and market understanding to build category strength and support innovation and performance reviews. Responsibilities Partner with category teams to deliver portfolio and brand strategies, identifying future category landscapes and quantified growth opportunities grounded in consumer insight. Conduct consumer research to understand needs, demand spaces, and occasions; evaluate brand equity, shopper behavior, path to purchase, and shelf navigation. Build analytics to size future consumer value pools using foresights and occasion data, diagnosing our ability to attract new users. Uncover consumer insights and interpret deep understanding to support Oikos brand strategy, including targeting, packaging, pricing, product, and communication. Understand Oikos’ role in competitive categories and evaluate the competition. Contribute to performance management through data‑driven insight, enabling agility in strategic and tactical decisions. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $184,000 - $195,000 USD, plus performance‑based bonus. About the Candidate We seek a future business leader passionate about leveraging insights, data, and analytics to unlock transformational growth. Ideal candidates are intellectual, curious problem‑solvers who turn complex data into inspiring stories, learn rapidly, and lead organizational change. Required Qualifications 15+ years of leadership experience in insights roles at a consumer packaged goods company. B.S./B.A. in marketing, business, or related field (required); M.S./MBA preferred. Proven record in designing, synthesizing, and applying repeatable, scalable insights from custom research. Experience managing external insight partners and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data from design through delivery. Strong knowledge of Circana/Nielsen, EPOS/Retail Sales data, household panel data, and loyalty card sources. Track record of influencing business decisions with fact‑based insights through competitive and retail intelligence. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership with clear, compelling communication. Experience managing multiple direct reports, driving performance, development, and team effectiveness. Ability to build strong relationships across the organization and continuously improve processes. Work Environment This hybrid position allows flexible work, but involves regular collaboration with key stakeholders at Danone Hubs. Employees may work from home according to an agreed schedule, but are expected to report to their assigned office location at least three days each week.
