At Siemens, we are building a new manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, Georgia, and creating the workforce, culture, and capabilities needed to support long-term growth. The facility will manufacture busplugs and busway systems for our Smart Infrastructure business.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Training and Engagement Manager to build and lead the site's Training & Qualification function from the ground up. You will create the strategy, curriculum, processes, systems, and trainer organization needed to support a rapidly growing hourly manufacturing workforce.

This on-site role reports to the Plant Manager and partners with site leadership, Operations, EHS, P&O, and technical experts. You will develop onboarding and technical training that supports workforce readiness while helping shape employee engagement, communications, and culture initiatives across the site.

You Will Make an Impact By

• Building and leading the site's Training & Qualification function in alignment with business objectives and plant readiness.
• Designing scalable new-hire orientation, onboarding, and technical training for hourly employees.
• Developing practical curriculum and delivery standards operations.
• Partnering with EHS to integrate appropriate safety content into onboarding while EHS retains responsibility for specialized safety training.
• Evaluating and adapting relevant practices from established Siemens operations to meet Pendergrass business and workforce needs.
• Defining the trainer staffing model and hiring, developing, and leading trainers as business demand grows.
• Measuring training effectiveness and improving employee readiness, consistency, quality, safety, and performance.
• Supporting employee-engagement programs, surveys, communications, feedback activities, and employee-led culture initiatives.
• Prioritizing high-impact initiatives, simplifying complex information, and leading work from concept through implementation.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 to 10 years of leadership experience in a high-growth manufacturing or education environment.
• Experience as either a manufacturing training leader responsible for workforce training or an education leader with teaching and curriculum development experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, instructional design, organizational development, business, engineering, operations, or a related field.
• Experience with the following:
• Building a training function, curriculum, or team from the ground up.
• Using software systems to create, organize, deliver, or manage training content and processes.
• Working in a greenfield, startup, expansion, or transformation environment.
• Designing onboarding and technical training for hourly manufacturing employees.
• Hiring, developing, and leading trainers, educators, or instructional professionals.
• Supporting employee engagement programs, surveys, communications, or culture initiatives.
• Managing projects with defined scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions or organizational levels.
• Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, training evaluation, and continuous improvement.
