Landscape Architecture Intern (Fall 2026)

To receive the best mentorship experience, we anticipate that this role will start in late August 2026 and run through December 2026. This position will require work in the office. Join us for the fall! Your Opportunity This is a resume and skill-building experience for a Landscape Architecture Intern. You will work 2-3 days per week, in-person, and your responsibilities will include project research, site visits and observation reports, sketching, CAD and computer graphics production, participation in design reviews, and marketing proposal assistance – all under guidance of our Landscape Architecture team members. Your Capabilities and Credentials Excellent design, graphic, computer, writing, and technical skills. Self-motivated and passionate about design. Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills. The ability to work with others, as well as independently. Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Rhino, Sketch-up, and Adobe programs is essential. Experience with Lumion or Enscape preferred. Education and Experience Applicants should be a current student of an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Landscape Architecture program. Pay Range $18.55 - $27.28 Hourly Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
