Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs while formulating personalized therapy strategies to support their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded care
• Coach Patients and Families: Educate patients and their loved ones on therapy practices to facilitate continued improvement at home
• Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary, keeping patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education and advanced certifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
