Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements Prepare patients pre-procedure and monitor them post-procedure for complications Assist physicians and the interdisciplinary team during procedures Administer medications and moderate sedation per hospital protocols Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety at all times Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record Participate in on-call rotation as required Qualifications Education: Graduate of accredited nursing program.
