Tanta Chicago is looking for line cooks who take pride in their craft. We're a high-volume Peruvian restaurant in River North with a kitchen that moves fast and a menu worth knowing — cebiches, wood-fired proteins, bold sauces, and dishes rooted in real Peruvian culinary tradition.

We need cooks who show up sharp, keep their station tight, and thrive under pressure. If you love the energy of a busy kitchen and want to work with ingredients and techniques that are actually interesting, this is the spot.

What you'll do:

• Own your station — prep, execution, and presentation done right every service
• Work alongside a team that holds each other to a high standard
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain strict cleanliness and food safety
• Take direction from Sous Chef and Executive Chef and carry it out consistently
• Contribute to a kitchen culture that's focused, positive, and professional

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of line experience in a full-service kitchen, or a culinary degree
• Someone organized, composed under pressure, and serious about their work
• Availability for various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for full shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle the physical demands of a working kitchen

Tanta Chicago está buscando cocineros de línea que se enorgullezcan de su trabajo. Somos un restaurante peruano de alto volumen en River North con una cocina que no para — cebiches, proteínas a la leña, salsas con carácter y platos con raíces en la tradición culinaria peruana de verdad.

Necesitamos cocineros que lleguen listos, mantengan su estación impecable y den lo mejor bajo presión. Si te energiza el ritmo de una cocina ocupada y quieres trabajar con ingredientes y técnicas que realmente valen la pena, este es tu lugar.

Qué harás:

• Ser dueño de tu estación — mise en place, ejecución y presentación a punto en cada servicio
• Trabajar junto a un equipo que se exige mutuamente
• Seguir las pautas de HACCP y mantener estrictos estándares de higiene y seguridad alimentaria
• Recibir y ejecutar instrucciones del Sous Chef y Chef Ejecutivo de manera consistente
• Contribuir a una cultura de cocina enfocada, positiva y profesional

Qué buscamos:

• 2+ años de experiencia en línea en una cocina de servicio completo, o título culinario
• Alguien organizado, tranquilo bajo presión y comprometido con su trabajo
• Disponibilidad para distintos turnos, incluyendo noches, fines de semana y días festivos
• Capacidad para estar de pie durante todo el turno, levantar hasta 50 lbs y manejar las exigencias físicas de una cocina activa
