Tax Manager - Real Estate

Job Summary As a Tax Manager in the Real Estate sector in New York, you will work side‑by‑side with firm leadership to serve real‑estate clients, mentor a team, and have a direct impact on the firm’s success. Responsibilities and Scope Provide tax, accounting and advisory services to real‑estate clients, including review, analysis and consultation of accounting records. Deliver best‑in‑class customer service with responsiveness, timeliness, professionalism and accuracy. Manage and build client relationships, act as a liaison to resolve issues, and assist team leaders with additional service research. Delegate and oversee client work, setting goals, providing resources, removing obstacles and scheduling deadlines. Maintain current knowledge of local, state and federal tax practices and laws. Assist with engagement staffing, billing/collections and ensure client profitability targets are met. Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships with clients and the community. Support the professional growth of team members through mentorship and development programs. Minimum Required Qualifications 4-year degree and CPA, EA or law license. Five years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Five or more years providing tax services in a professional services firm. Two or more years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates. Demonstrated analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and tax software. Experience with Real‑Estate clients. Compensation and Benefits Pay rate range for this position is $126,500 to $166,300 in Manhattan and $116,250 to $159,640 in Uniondale. Actual compensation is influenced by factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
